Gene Wilder (born Jerome Silberman in June 11, 1933 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin) is an American actor, who has starred around supplementary than 30 pic.

Biography

Before a release of Tim Burton's 2005 remake of the movie (entitled Charlie and the Chocolate Factory), Wilder said the remaking was "all about money," & that there was there are no want to remake a 1971 film. Wilder has noted that, whenever a remaking "has to be done," he saw Johnny Depp as a perfect selection to reprise a role of Willy Wonka. Tim Burton's reply was that a 1971 version was "sappy" & that he "rate[s] [the musical] Chitty Chitty Bang Bang higher."
